The Vala AL brings legendary Santa Cruz handling and trail performance to a durable aluminum chassis. Built around our tuned Four-Bar suspension system with 150mm of rear travel and a 160mm fork, it delivers active traction on technical climbs and composed control when charging back down.

Powered by the class-leading Bosch Performance Line CX motor—delivering up to 120 Nm of torque and 600W peak power—the Vala AL provides quiet, responsive, full-power assist without motor rattle. An integrated 600 Wh internal battery keeps the downtube slim and handling agile, while providing plenty of capacity for proper trail rides. For bigger days, it seamlessly pairs with an optional 250 Wh PowerMore range extender.

Equipped with mixed (MX) wheels for ideal rollover up front and agility out back, independent geometry and progression flip chips, and our lifetime warranty on frames and pivot bearings, the Vala AL is built to outlast.

FEATURES:

Aluminum Frame: Durable, high-performance alloy frame available in sizes SM to XL.
Four-Bar Suspension: 150mm of active rear travel paired with a 160mm fork, tuned to reduce pedal kickback and stay supple under braking.

600 Wh Internal Battery: Compact fixed downtube battery keeps overall weight lower for uncompromised handling; compatible with optional 250 Wh PowerMore range extender.
MX Wheels: 29-inch front wheel for rollover and traction combined with a 27.5-inch rear wheel for maneuverability.
