The Giant EnergyPak Plus Range Extender mounting accessory kit is used to mount the Giant EnergyPak range extender battery. The mounting plate is screwed to the matching mounting holes in the down tube. You can snap the Range Extender battery onto the mounting plate with a twisting motion. Once mounted the mounting plate remains permanently attached to the. Thanks to the clever design, you can continue to use a water bottle cage when the Range Extender is removed.
