The All-New

SKITCH

N + ONE (LESS CAR)

Like trying to apply a definition to the shape of an Amoeba, explaining what the Santa Cruz Skitch is in finite terms is an impossibility. It is truly a bike that takes the form of its host and can easily move between what it does today and tomorrow with only a recurring point - an ear-to-ear grin of its rider.

On the surface, the Skitch is, simply put, a Stigmata gravel bike with a motor. When you look deeper, you start to understand all the things that are unlocked by that platform. It can be your gravel explorer like the Stigmata itself. A commuting wiz kid capable of whisking you around town without breaking a sweat. Or the Skitch and be the key to finally taking your buddies up on that ride you've been avoiding because your New Year's resolution of "This'll be the year I get in shape!" didn't precisely take priority in your always-busy lifestyle.

The Skitch is your 28mph (Class 3), go-anywhere, do anything bike you didn't even know you needed till you saw it. Read on to see the features that help make the Skitch the one bike that breaks the mold.

WHO IS THE RIDER?

The brilliance of the Skitch is that it can be all things to all people and that you don't need to choose up front.

Gravel Bike: For the person looking for an extra boost on your favorite rails-to-trails bike path or someone who frequently goes where the map didn't specify a 25% gravel fire road climb—where reaching home becomes the sole objective and a bit of supplementary power could certainly be advantageous.

Commuter: Easily navigate the streets without breaking a sweat in your khakis. Admit it, nobody wants to be the smelly person at the office after they attempted a stoplight to stoplight Strava KOM while wearing a backpack and a dress shirt. The Skitch can easily cover the miles without the effort, allowing you to be smug to your coworkers about your weekly commuter miles and ensure you arrive looking sharp.

The Highway Cruiser: Fear not; just add road tires (or don't), and you've got a new go-to companion for exploring new roads. The geometry of the skitch will feel familiar enough to inspire confidence on the road or trail alike, so anyone looking for that extra gear in a headwind can rest easy knowing that the Skitch has your back.

WHAT WE LOVE.

Packed with features, the Skitch is more than just an everyday bike and here are a few of the things that make it stand out.

Handlebar Choice

Choices from the start—with the ability to run a flat bar or drop bar, it helps provide the right control regardless of how you want to ride.

Range

Sporting a robust torque of up to 60nm and equipped with a 430wh battery, the Skitch has the capability to ride up to distance of 60 miles.

Future-Proof

With geo ahead of its time, the ability to run suspension, and features like a new UDH rear Derailleur mount and tire clearance up to 50mm, the Skitch has already ventured into every conceivable territory for gravel bikes.

FULL FEATURED.

We can't list them all well... we could, but if If they don't convince you to order the all-new Stigmata or visit our stores to experience it firsthand, we're not sure what will!

Fazua Ride 60NM Motor

The skitch's 28mph class-3 beating heart is the Fazua Ride 60 motor and battery system. Designed to work seamlessly to assist you while you pedal, it will apply up to 430 watts (if you don't speak wattage, that's A LOT!) of power while you ride. Worried about having enough battery to get home? Fear not; The massive 430wh internal battery is good for up to 60 miles of riding or equivalent to a 630wh battery from the full-power Heckler eMTB.

Another benefit of the Fazua system comes with the frictionless motor operation. With the total bike weight at 30 lbs, this allows you to ride it with the motor off and no added drivetrain friction for that classic feel (but who would really want that?)

Controls

With an integrated display in the Skitch's top tube, you can always tell how much power is left in the tank and what mode you're in. An easy-to-use control switch is mounted to the bike's handlebar with options for flat and drop bars. Easily select drive modes on the fly without ever taking your hands off the bar.

The Fazua system offers three assist modes: Breeze, River, and Rocket for full power with an additional boost mode.

Geometry

Like its kindred spirit, the non-electric Stigmata, the skitch features one of the most progressive geometries of any gravel-going bike available.

Compared to the previous generation of the Santa Cruz Stigmata, they have lengthened the bike to help add stability on the road and confidence on the dirt. To achieve this new geo, the frame (For size 56cm) is 32mm longer in reach, has 5mm longer chainstays, and 67mm longer wheelbase. In addition, the headtube angle is 2° slacker at 69°.

So, what do those numbers mean for the rider? The longer bike and slacker HT will help it feel more stable at speed in gravel race/ride situations by helping to keep the rider's weight centered and able to resist feedback from the road. On trails, the front wheel will feel pushed out in front of the rider, giving a feeling of confidence when the trail tips down.

To keep the steering quick, Santa Cruz has both options with shorter 70mm stems to keep the same effective reach to the handlebar, so even though the geo is dramatically different, the cockpit will feel as you'd expect..

Details Throughout

Quick and easy to charge, the Skitch's internal battery can be easily charged from an external port near the BB. Additionally, it can be taken back to full charge in a minimal 3.5 hours. The Skitch also features minimal hidden fender mounts to keep you dry in any weather, tire clearance for up to 50mm tires, compatibility with 27.2 dropper posts, UDH compatibility to future-proof your drivetrain, and the much-loved threaded BB.

FRAME SIZING

If you're on the cusp between the recommended height range of two sizes, the absolute best thing is to try to ride them both. At a minimum, check the stack/reach measurements on your current bike and compare it to the new model you are looking at to get an idea of a fit you are already comfortable with. If riding the bike is not an option, our Customer Service can help you identify a size more specific to your body type. Call us at (866) 600-BIKE.

The SKITCH is available in sizes S - XXL.

Body Dimension

Not all bodies at a given height are the same. If you have longer legs and a shorter torso than the average person your height, that may push you towards the smaller of the recommended sizes. If you're all torso and arms, most likely you'll want to size up.
