You're just as likely to search for trails that are only found based on their GPS coordinates as you are packing up your gear and shuttle all day. You're the type of rider who isn't upset when your shiny new ride gets a scratch while searching for the most fun line down a new trail you didn't know was rideable, and while modern enduro racers are looking for all-out speed, you're more concerned with style points.
For you, picking a new bike isn't about following the biggest trends; it's about making sure your bike can take a beating and keep riding. You're less interested in a carbon fiber lay-up dropping pounds and more interested in how much more durable the frame is thanks to impact protection. That way, when you make a little mistake and find yourself ass-over-teakettle and swimming in baby head filled dirt, you know you can take a deep breath, collect your yard-saled ego, and drop back in again.

WHAT WE LOVE.
It doesn't matter if you're riding your home trails or exploring new ones; Santa Cruz always works hard to add features that elevate and refine their bikes. While many things have changed on the Nomad 6, these are some of our favorites.
Geo tweaks
Updates to the Stack and reach, head tube angle, and seat tube angle helps make more confidence at speed without sacrificing agility.
Suspension Choice
From the factory, you can pick between high volume rear air shock or super smooth coils.
MX Wheels
You asked, and Santa Cruz provides. New MX (29"front / 27.5" Rear) wheels help get the front end over big trail features without sacrificing maneuverability.
FULL FEATURED.
A bike meant to seek out new trails needs to come with Swiss Army Knife utility; It needs to get you where you're going and, even more importantly, get you back home. The new Nomad 6 comes packed with new features to make the trail more fun and to take a load off your back.
Glove Box Internal Storage
Like the new Megatower and Hightower, the Santa Cruz Glove Box adds internal frame storage for anything you need to carry on the trail. Paired with the Tube Purse and Tool Wallet, all of your stuff will be organized and right where you need it when the time comes.
Lifetime Warranty
All Santa Cruz and Juliana frames, pivot bearings, and reserve carbon rims come with a lifetime warranty. Whether you have a Mike's Bikes shop down the street and want to drop the bike off and let us take care of it, or you need direct support from Santa Cruz - if you've got a problem, we've got you covered.
Proportional Chainstay
No matter what size frame you ride, you'll get the ride Santa Cruz intended. Every size bike gets a custom CS length that scales with the bike's geometry to keep the same playful feel regardless of size. This translates to more than a 10mm difference in CS length depending on the size.
Suspension Tune
Increased suspension sensitivity thanks to lower anti-squat keeps the rear wheel pushed into the ground for more traction and less pedal kickback, while a lower starting leverage ratio helps you get into the bike's travel more easily and maintains a linear path all the way to bottom out.
