THE REFINEMENT

Okay okay, we'll admit - from 10ft away, it is hard to tell the Megatower 2 apart from its first generation, but that is where the similarities stop. Brought into the modern era of enduro weapons, the new Megatower has completely updated suspension, geometry, and other features to make it your perfect everyday downhill bike.

Improved suspension kinematics.

Totally new geometry.

New everyday features.

REDESIGNED SUSPENSION

For anyone who has ever given the audible "Whoaaaa!" of fear and excitement after they barely held on to the bars through a never ridden before section of trail - the Megatower has your back. Faster speeds and bigger hits need longer travel and more forgiving suspension.

Longer travel - Extended to 170mm Front and 165mm rear, the Megatower has longer travel than ever.

Completely redesigned kinematics help provide a more linear feel through the travel, thanks to a lower leverage ratio and longer 62.5mm stroke shock.

FLAT OUT & BLIND - PROGRESSIVE GEO

Slacker, longer, and tuned to every size rider, the Megatower has been brought to the head of the line of progressive geo. The slacker head tube and longer wheelbase help to provide more stability at speed. The newly adjusted chainstays provide a backend tuned to each rider helping balance speed and agility.

Last, the steeper seat tube angle helps keep the bike underneath you while climbing back up for your next run, and the extended reach makes sure you're not cramped.

A - 1.5° Slacker than Gen1 - 63.8° Hi setting / 63.5° Low setting
B - 2° steeper seat-tube angle than Gen1 - 77.8°
C - 35mm Longer Wheelbase
D - 5mm longer Reach.
E - Tuned chainstay length by size.

ICING ON THE CAKE: GLOVEBOX INTERNAL STORAGE

We're not saying that internal tool storage is going to make or break your ride, but for those moments when you "run out of talent" and find yourself needing a trailside repair, the new Glovebox integrated storage in the downtube means all your gear is safe and sound tucked away right where you left it.

Even with the updated geo helping to make climbing on the Megatower a breeze, we know that there is likely a fair amount of time this bike will be shuttled to the top of the mountain over the tailgate of your buddies truck. Equipped with a new downtube protector, even the roughest fire road rally back to the top of the run won't ding or damage your new ride.

FRAME SIZING

If you're on the cusp between the recommended height range of two sizes, the absolute best thing is to try to ride them both. At a minimum, check the stack/reach measurements on your current bike and compare it to the new model you are looking at to get an idea of a fit you are already comfortable with. If riding the bike is not an option, consider the following.

The Megatower is available in sizes small - extra extra large (S-XXL).

Body Dimension

Not all bodies at a given height are the same. If you have longer legs and a shorter torso than the average person your height, that may push you towards the smaller of the recommended sizes. If you're all torso and arms, most likely you'll want to size up.
