THE ALL-NEW

SANTA CRUZ BULLIT 4

MORE MOUNTAIN, LESS COMPROMISE

When the trail gets rowdy, the Bullit 4 doesn’t blink. It’s a full-power enduro with downhill in its DNA — built to charge steep lines, float through chaos, and climb back out like nothing even happened. With 170mm of travel, mixed wheels, and crazy aggressive geometry, it’s the most capable eMTB Santa Cruz has ever made.

The Bosch Performance Line CX system delivers 85Nm of torque and serious range, so you can lap the wild stuff all day without losing steam. And the frame? Bombproof. With oversized bearings, a stiff one-piece link, and size-specific geometry across every frame, the Bullit 4 is engineered for high-speed commitment and all-day repeatability.

From big mountain descents to rugged trail days, this one was built to be pushed — again and again. The Bullit 4 is for those who don’t just want more from their bike — they expect it.

More Travel

MORE TRAVEL

With 170mm of travel front and rear — the most of any Santa Cruz eBike — the Bullit 4 is built for big hits and bigger mistakes. Casing the lip? No problem. It soaks up slop, smooths out chaos, and keeps rough descents fast, flowy, and fun.

MX Wheels

29” front for rollover confidence. 27.5” rear for quick moves and back-end bias. The mixed-wheel setup keeps the ride responsive and stable, especially when the trail points straight down.

FULL FEATURED

Handling & Suspension

The Bullit 4 pairs 170mm of front and rear travel with an improved 4-bar suspension design that stays composed when things get steep, fast, and loose. It climbs better than a long-travel bike should, with refined anti-squat tuning to keep you planted and comfortable under power.

Adjustable progression lets you choose your rear-end feel, whether you prefer bottomless traction or a snappy pop. Size-specific chainstays ensure balanced handling across all frame sizes, and the stiff one-piece rear link keeps everything tight and responsive. Go faster, ride harder — the Bullit 4’s got you.

Bosch Performance Line CX Motor

The Bosch Performance Line CX system puts full-power control at your fingertips. With 85 Nm of torque, 600W peak output, and a compact 600Wh internal battery, the Bullit 4 climbs like it’s got something to prove — and with the optional PowerMore 250Wh range extender, it can go even further.

The motor delivers assist that feels natural and consistent, with multiple ride modes to match your terrain and style. Wireless controls and the Bosch Flow App give you access to firmware updates, GPS route planning, and deep ride customization. The Bosch system helps you conserve energy, ride longer, and repeat the fun — again and again.

Confidence-Inpsiring Geometry

Aggressive and capable, the Bullit 4’s geometry is designed to give you total control in all directions. The 63.3° head tube angle (low setting) keeps things slack and stable when the trail gets steep, while the 78.7° seat tube angle keeps your weight forward and efficient on the climbs.

Flip Chips allow for quick adjustability, so you can tailor the bike to suit your terrain or riding style. Mixed wheels — 29” up front, 27.5” in the rear — offer the best of both worlds: rollover confidence with tight, responsive handling out back. Whether you're climbing techy singletrack or bombing down off-camber rock gardens, this geometry delivers balance, confidence, and straight-up fun.

Design Details

Santa Cruz doesn’t build bikes to sit pretty. The Bullit 4 is designed to get ridden hard — and hold up to it. Its carbon frame is strong, light, and comes in C or CC layups, all under 50 lbs. Oversized bearings, an enclosed downtube, and a one-piece rear link add stiffness and long-term durability. The seatstay bridge helps the rear end track clean and stay tight under pressure.

You’ll find thoughtful touches everywhere: tool mount under the top tube, long-dropper compatibility, 5mm hardware throughout, and no proprietary headaches when it comes time to wrench. Add in lifetime warranties on the frame, bearings, and Reserve carbon rims, and you’ve got a bike that’s built to last — and last hard.

FRAME SIZING

If you're on the cusp between the recommended height range of two sizes, the absolute best thing is to try to ride them both. At a minimum, check the stack/reach measurements on your current bike and compare it to the new model you are looking at to get an idea of a fit you are already comfortable with.

If riding the bike is not an option, our Customer Service can help you identify a size more specific to your body type. Call us at (866) 600-BIKE.

The Santa Cruz BULLIT 4 is available in sizes S - XXL.

PERSONAL PREFERENCE

A larger size frame will be more stable, and will give you more room to move without upsetting the weight-balance of the bike. The larger size will put the front wheel further in front of you, which gives the feeling of security and conversely, it will require more significant body movements when you WANT to shift the weight-bias of the bike. Think hard about your riding style and how active/intuitive you want it to be vs stable and speedy. You'll need to work a bit harder to muscle the larger bike around.

BODY DIMENSIONS

Not all bodies at a given height are the same. If you have longer legs and a shorter torso than the average person your height, that may push you towards the smaller of the recommended sizes. If you're all torso and arms, most likely you'll want to size up.
