The Medeo uses the Bosch Active Line and Active Line Plus motors. Bikes equipped with the Active Line feature 40Nm of torque, while the Active Line Plus offers 50Nm of torque. These mid-drive motors are some of the smoothest operating systems we've seen, with nearly seamless operation that assists you while you pedal. Paired to the motor is a Bosch 400Wh or 545Wh battery. In our on-road test of the Medeo T9 City with the Active Line (40Nm) motor and 400Wh battery, we saw a total range of 37 miles and almost 2 hours of ride time in Turbo mode on one battery charge.

The Medeo T9 and T9 City aslo get Bosch’s latest tech stack, including an enhanced display, adaptive Auto Mode, expanded data and fitness metrics, and seamless connectivity with the Bosch Flow app.

The Medeo T9 and T9 City now feature a more comprehensive size range from Extra-Small to Large, allowing riders under 5ft and well over 6ft to find the right size. Additionally, the bikes are now available in a step-through design with an ultra-low frame and a solid brace that improves stiffness and stability without the need for a top tube, making it easier to mount and dismount with a super low step-over height. This is particularly useful in urban settings or for smaller or older riders.

This design also creates additional space on the rear rack, allowing for a more robust rack and a larger battery on the T9 model. Placing the battery on the tube lowers the center of gravity, improving balance and stability.

You'll find a simple-to-use cafe lock that locks the rear wheel and stops the bike from rolling while you pop into a local shop.
