Not designed for normal “street shoes”

"These toe clips might work for some shoes, but I commute to work in my normal walking around shoes and these toe clips are too small for my shoes to fit into (the toe box is not tall enough to fit). It might work for biking specific shoes, but if I were wearing these, then I would also be using clip in pedals and not toe clips…."
