FEATURES:
- Oversized Uppers, Overbuilt Crown: 47mm upper tubes and massive crown give Podium incredible fore-aft rigidity. The chassis stiffness approaches that of a FOX 40, letting you power through the roughest and steepest trails with absolute confidence, even at Downhill race speed. Not fair.
- Custom Tuned Grip X2 Damper: Podium was designed around the dominant and award-winning GRIP X2 damper, custom tuned to account for reduced chassis friction. Riders sit higher in the travel and corner with increased traction, giving greater confidence while reducing fatigue significantly.
- Glidecore Air Spring: GlideCore reduces friction by moving with the fork under dynamic load. Large Nitrile Butadeine rings dampen and control this motion laterally under load and axially to reduce stiction. The result? Smoother suspension action and less overall fatigue, over big bumps and small.
- All The Bushing Overlap: The inverted chassis allowed us to design Podium with an advantageous 175mm of bushing overlap. This not only contributes to greater fore-aft rigidity, but contributes to Podium having the lowest possible chassis friction, especially at high speed.
- Large Diameter Axle: With no arch joining the fork legs, we achieved the optimum torsional stiffness by using a custom steel 20 x 110mm Boost DH axle. Our athletes and engineers tested extensively for steering response that feels natural and holds your intended line.
