ROUVIDA

DOING MORE SO YOU CAN DO MORE.

The Rouvida doesn't care how long it's been since your last ride.

The Cervélo Rouvida embodies human’s best friend in the realm of bikes. No matter what you've been doing or how long you've been away, it eagerly awaits, wagging its tail, prepared to offer you an unparalleled experience, tailored to make the most of whatever time you can spare.

Using a 60Nm electric motor to assist you for up to 4 hours of ride time, the Rouvida will give you as much or as little as you need to make headwinds feel manageable and climbs feel... well, enjoyable. It seamlessly takes up the slack and makes you feel like you've been hitting every workout in your "training program." Whether you're sneaking out for a 30-minute lunch ride for the first time in a month or reaching your 200th mile for the week, the only concern on your mind will be the wind in your helmet.

WHO IS THE RIDER?

"Never-enough-time-to-train" : You're looking for the most fun on the bike when you've got limited time to train. You want all the performance of a lightweight, performance-oriented road bike in the corners but don't always have time to train like a Tour de France contender on the climbs or headwinds.

"Unlock your superpower" : You're looking for more speed. Because, let's be honest, going faster is always more fun. You want the ability to go faster to cover more ground when you get on the bike and enjoy the ride that much more.

"I don't want to hold you back" : You want the ability to stay with the pack on faster or longer rides. We're not suggesting that you want to go out with your average go-fast group ride and sprint for the win. Still, maybe you've got a group of friends that ride at a faster pace or like more challenging terrain than you typically tackle, and you'd like to have a little bit of assistance when the speed and terrain start to go up.

WHAT WE LOVE.

Rouvida's introduction holds significant value for riders seeking an extra boost in their cycling experience. Here, we highlight some of our favorite aspects of the bike.

CLASSIC CERVÉLO FEEL

Designed to handle like a road bike, the Rouvida has a geometry akin to the other competitive road bikes in Cervelo's line-up.

POWER

Using the Fazua Ride 60 motor we've seen in many other Santa Cruz models, the Rouvida has plenty of torque to get you up to speed and a battery for extended range.

GREAT LOOKS

Even though it hides a 430w/h battery in the frame, the Rouvida still has the silhouette of a standard road bike thanks to the reorientation of the battery.

FULL FEATURED.

We can't list them all well... we could, but if If they don't convince you to order the all-new Rouvida or visit our stores to experience it firsthand, we're not sure what will!

Fazua Ride 60NM Motor

The 28mph class-3 beating heart of the Rouvida is the Fazua Ride 60 motor and battery system. Designed to work seamlessly to assist you while you pedal, it will apply up to 450 watts (if you don't speak wattage, that's A LOT!) of power while you ride. Worried about having enough battery to get home? Fear not; The massive 430wh internal battery is good for up to 60 miles of riding.

Another benefit of the Fazua system comes with the frictionless motor operation. With the total bike weight at 30 lbs, this allows you to ride it with the motor off and no added drivetrain friction for that classic feel (but who would really want that?).

Flip Chip Geometry

The Rouvida offers the ability to switch easily between real road geometry and more stable gravel set-up with the flip of a chip. While the standard geometry of the Rouvida mirrors the geometry of Cervelo's competitive road line-up, the bike can easily be adjusted to fit up to a 700x43c gravel tire while maintaining its snappy handling. The Rouvida uses a clever set of reversible chips that move the front and rear axles and adjust the bike's trail and ride height to accommodate the large volume of gravel tires. This means you'll get a .7° slacker head tube angle for gravel off-road handling, a trail of 57.9mm for road, and 62mm for gravel.

Internal Cable Routing

The cable routing is inside the frame for aerodynamics and aesthetics but doesn't go through the stem. Cervelo developed a system that threads the cables under the stem but through the bearing cap. Whether your position changes or you loan the bike to a friend who uses a different stem length, you won't need to bleed the brakes to swap the stem.

Road Bike Looks

Describing the Rouvida as "pretty" might not be a distinct feature, but Cervelo has invested considerable effort in ensuring that it doesn't resemble a bike with a bulky downtube. Their engineers have cleverly rotated the battery, located in the downtube, 90 degrees to help preserve the sleek profile of a Cervelo road bike without reducing the capacity of the battery. Looking at the Rouvida from the side, its profile looks natural and proportionate to all the other shapes on the bike.

FRAME SIZING

If you're on the cusp between the recommended height range of two sizes, the absolute best thing is to try to ride them both. At a minimum, check the stack/reach measurements on your current bike and compare it to the new model you are looking at to get an idea of a fit you are already comfortable with. Customer Service can help you identify a size more specific to your body type. Call us at (866) 600-BIKE.

The Rouvida is available in sizes small - extra large (S-XL).

BODY DIMENSION

Not all bodies at a given height are the same. If you have longer legs and a shorter torso than the average person your height, that may push you towards the smaller of the recommended sizes. If you're all torso and arms, most likely you'll want to size up.
