WHO IS THE RIDER?

The SuperSix has always carried a true racing pedigree, built around stiffness, responsiveness, and low weight. With each new generation, Cannondale has focused on meaningful gains that elevate how the bike feels on real roads. It’s designed for riders who want one bike that excels in every scenario.

On climbs, it responds instantly when power goes down. Through corners and hard accelerations, it stays planted and efficient. Gen 5 builds on the high bar set by Gen 4 with a lighter, sharper, and more refined design.

Riders also want comfort and compliance without sacrificing the bike's edge. The signature SuperSix performance remains, now tuned with greater comfort and tire clearance for real-world roads. The result is a ride that stays fast and efficient without punishing you on long, demanding days. When pavement gets rough or the miles stack up, the SuperSix remains confident, composed, and quick to respond.

WHAT WE LOVE

The new SuperSix EVO brings meaningful improvements to speed, control, and comfort. Here are some of the features we’re most excited about in Gen 5.

System Weight

Reimagined as a full system, Gen 5 drops up to 148g across the frame, fork, cockpit, and hardware for a noticeably quicker feel.

Integration

The SystemBar cockpit and Delta Steerer create a cleaner, faster front end with seamless integration that still stays easy to adjust.

Tire Clearance

Wider clearance lets you run up to 32mm tires (with 4mm of clearance on each side), adding comfort and grip on rough pavement without slowing the bike down.

FULL FEATURED

Explore the features that turn day SuperSix's race-day engineering into real-world speed and confidence.

Aero That Work Overtime

Gen 5 takes a measurable step forward aerodynamically. Refined tube shaping through CFD analysis and wind-tunnel testing delivers drag numbers that put the SuperSix remarkably close to full aero bikes. Cannondale also optimized the bottle integration, so the system works together. The updated SystemBar Road features a truncated airfoil shape and a slim top section to help riders maintain a more aerodynamic position. It's a cockpit that is designed for both speed and control.

SuperSix continues to use Cannondale’s Delta Steerer design, which streamlines cable routing for a more aerodynamic profile while still allowing easier stem and handlebar adjustments than fully internal systems.

Where Light Meets Fast

Weight often becomes the tradeoff as modern race bikes chase aero shaping and stiffness, but Gen 5 flips the script. Cannondale has re-engineered the frame and fork to shave grams without sacrificing the SuperSix ride feel. And it doesn't stop there; engineers reworked the entire system, including the cockpit, bottle cages, computer mount, and seatpost, delivering up to 148g in total system weight savings over Gen 4. Frame weights now start at 728g for LAB71, 781g for Hi-MOD, and 910g for Carbon (size 56). It's a meaningful drop in real-world weight, helping Gen 5 feel quicker on climbs and more responsive when you put power down.

Cannondale also now offers two new SL builds for riders seeking the lightest options available.

Stability at Speed

Handling has always defined SuperSix, and Gen 5 carries that DNA forward. Cannondale's Proportional Response design uses size-specific carbon layups and geometry to give every rider the same balanced feel, keeping SuperSix quick and responsive when pushing hard yet calm and predictable at speed. Gen 5 also gets a more race-focused fit. The stack height has been lowered by 10mm across the platform, paired with a slightly longer reach and a shorter head tube. This creates a forward-leaning position that helps riders get lower and more aero-efficient while keeping the front end precise and stable. The trail and wheelbase remain consistent with Gen 4 to preserve confident descending and predictable handling.

Wider Tires, Wider Possibilities

Gen 5 adds more versatility to the SuperSix platform, with clearance for measured 32mm tires and at least 4mm on each side. That extra clearance opens the door to more comfort, more grip, and more confidence on rough pavement or longer days in the saddle. This means that even with its deep race pedigree, the SuperSix EVO is shaped for more than just elite riders. Cannondale recognized that many riders want greater confidence and stability on real roads while still experiencing the same sharp handling and ride characteristics.

FRAME SIZING

If you're on the cusp between the recommended height range of two sizes, the absolute best thing is to try to ride them both. At a minimum, check the reach/stack measurements on your current bike and compare it to the new model you are looking at to get an idea of a fit you are already comfortable with.

If riding the bike is not an option, our Customer Support team can help you identify a size more specific to your body type. Call us at (866) 600-BIKE.

The Cannondale SuperSix Evo is available in sizes 48cm - 61cm.

BODY DIMENSIONS

Not all bodies at a given height are the same.

  • If you are between sizes and have longer arms and legs, the larger size may provide a better fit due to its longer reach and top tube.
  • If you are between sizes and have shorter arms and legs, the smaller size may feel more balanced and easier to manage.
  • Final fit can be fine-tuned with stem length, spacer height, and saddle position.

We always recommend checking the manufacturer’s geometry chart or visiting your local Mike’s Bikes for a professional fit consultation.
