WHO IS THE RIDER?

At its core, the SuperSix EVO is and always will be for the racer. Riders looking for a bike that can match their ability to go fast in all conditions. While some bikes are only meant for the mountain top finishes and others are true weapons tacking the wind like a sailboat - the Gen4 SuperSix EVO is one of the most complete packages you can ride today.

It's perfect for riders that dont know what the course will have in store or when the right time to make their move will be. They are looking for a bike that feels confident and nimble in tight corners, that feels planted uphill and under power in sprints, and that won't hold them back if they find themselves alone (off the front or back...). The SuperSix is truly an all-around race bike.

AERODYNAMICS

The biggest upgrade from the previous generation of SuperSix EVO is the bikes ability to hold speed thanks to HUGE aero gains.

INTEGRATION

Both the bikes hidden cabling and its ability to mount the incredible Cannondale SmartSense Lights/Radar system. It looks clean all the time.

FULL FEATURED.

The SuperSix EVO is all things to all people, and thats a really REALLY high watermark with how many other great bikes have come to the performance road market in the last few years. Its list of features is long and its useability is nearly unmatched.

Aerodynamics

The Gen4 SuperSix prioritized elevating the aerodynamics of the chassis to meet that of true aero road platforms. To make these aero gains, Cannondale looked at how they could increase the efficiency of the entire system, from integration, tube shaping, and clever engineering.

1. Integration: the new Momo-designed "SystemBar R-One" makes for massive aerodynamics savings by cleaning up the cables and providing a slim profile aerodynamic bar that drops the cables, completely hidden, into the frame. Additionally, the new "Delta Steerer tube" makes the fully hidden cable routing simple to work on and easy to adjust the front end height.

2. Tube-shaping: Every tube of the SuperSix EVO has been changed dramatically. While to the overall profile of the bike remains identifiable, you'll see entirely new shapes on the fork blades with deeper camtail sections, a narrower headtube, a deeper downtube with much harder-edged camtail airfoils, and an incredibly thin seatpost.

3. Clever Engineering: While it doesn't show off in photos well, in person you'll notice the seatpost is almost impossibly narrow. To do this, Cannondale engineers needed to relocate the placement of the Di2 battery building a new location below the BB to securely hid the battery. This allows for the profile of the seatpost to be slimmed down dramatically and to clean up some of the fastest-moving and most turbulent air affecting the frame.

Component Spec

Beyond the typical SRAM and Shimano selection, Cannondale has been hard at work developing completely new wheels and their new integrated cockpit.

1. Integrated Cockpit: Developed alongside Italian automotive brand Momo, the new SystemBar R-One works as a key element of the SuperSix EVO's aerodynamic package but also helps elevate the styling to make for one of the most attractive complete packages available today.

2. HollowGram R50 Wheels: the perfect all-around race wheel. the R50 features a 50mm depth front and rear with an ultra-wide 32mm rim width. This massive width helps keep air flowing smoothly over the rim in even the most dramatic crosswinds making the bike both aerodynamic and stable.

Lightweight

As bikes try to serve all masters with stiffness and aerodynamics, weight tends to take a backup priority. The dramatically shaped tubes that allow for better performance in the wind and the reinforcement needed to keep aerodynamic bikes stiff often see weight skyrocket. Cannondale has introduced new carbon technology they're calling "Series-0" carbon which has much stronger fibers than their traditional HiMOD carbon fiber allowing for more precise application and less material used to achieve stiffness targets. This results in a full-aero frame weighing in at 770g. Still that fancy new carbon tech does come at a cost so you'll also see a HiMOD frame at 810g and a Carbon frame at 930g; both still in a class considered lightweights.

Integration | SmartSense

The integration of the Gen4 SuperSix EVO goes beyond the new Momo-designed "SystemBar R-One" cockpit. While the newly developed cockpit and cable routing is a significant step forward for the bike, it's only one piece of the puzzle. Cannondale has also adapted its revolutionary SmartSense lighting and radar system to the bike. The integration of the SmartSense system allows the rider to operate lights and radar from a single centrally located battery while hard mounting the lights and radar to the frame and saddle for a simple and seamless look. This means that while the SuperSix EVO comes with a long-standing race pedigree, Cannondale has considered that there are far more people who want to feel safe on the road while experiencing the same amazing handling and ride characteristics.

FRAME SIZING

The SuperSix Evo is available in sizes 44cM - 61CM. If riding the bike is not an option, consider the following.

Personal Preference

For road bikes/racing bikes/endurance bikes fit is more critical than these other bikes. Cannondale offers up to eight metric sizes, from 48 cm to 63 cm. The reason is that on road racing bikes the rider is often locked in to a fixed position for many hours of riding. So small differences in fit can make a big difference. Experienced riders often know their preferred frame size, saddle height, reach dimension, etc

Body Dimension

* If you are a taller build with longer arms and legs, size up to the larger size. Larger frames also have longer top tubes that are likely to fit you better.
* If you are more compact build, with shorter arms and legs, size down to the smaller size. Smaller frames also have shorter top tubes.
* If you are more fit and athletic, like to ride faster, you will likely benefit from the lower, more aggressive riding position of the larger frame.
* If you are more casual, ride more slowly, the smaller will give you a more upright riding position.
* If your back and neck are less flexible, thanks to a shorter top tube, the smaller size will give you a more upright riding position.
