Cannondale Quick CX 1
"I'm 68 years old, and just getting back into cycling to get more exercise in between my dirt bike outings. . . . So there is my disclaimer as to being an avid cycler. That said, I've had the bike for just over two weeks and have progressivly increased my distance from 5. 5 miles to 22. 5 miles over six rides. I am very happy with this bike! Much more comfortable for me now than my old Bianchi Vigorelli road bike. Even though it's much heavier (comparitively), still easy to ride and I don't notice the extra weight once moving. The 1x9 gearing is perfect for me, and the handle bar lock out for the front suspension is nice to have. I've only seen 1" of nearly 2" of front suspension use so far, but it's nice to have on rough pavement/bike paths or having to hit rounded curbs or jumping square curbs. As usual, pedals and seat are a personal preferance. The factory pedals are just placement holders, so I went with composit high grip pedals from the dealer which were excelent, great grip, but for road/path riding I tried a dual SPD/ flat pedal grip for one ride for increased road riding, so still getting used to that. I'm waiting too get my first seat upgrade, so I'll have to see where that leads. Bottom line, dealier experience was geat, very happy with the bike knowing the personal evaluations, mechanically solid 5 star."
