"I use Mr Tuffy in my bike tires. Bought a new TREK Domane, and the bike shop does not like to install tire liners. According to the bike shop tire liners cause wear flats. I've been using Mr Tuffy tire liners for quite some time, and have not had a flat from, thorns, glass, etc, and NEVER a flat from a rub from the liner. Well, I didn't put a liner in my TREK bike, rode it for 6 months or so, got a flat caused by a thorn. Looked all over for Mr Tuffy tire liners, hope they didn't quit making them."

Flat on first ride.

"I am told these are supposed to work pretty well; however, I got a flat from a thorn on my first ride. So I am not so happy. They were supposed to be plenty wide enough for my 2.1 inch tires; however, it appears the thorn made it through near the edge of the Mr Tuffy. I think they are just not wide enough for even a 2.1 inch tire."

No More Slow Leaks

"Tires are 29 x 4. I kept picking up thistles and needles on a light dirt trail near my home. Every few days I had to change out a tube because of multiple holes. Installed these things and haven’t looked back. There great. Word of recommendation. Make sure you’re inner tube is semi full and fills the width of the tire, it helps to keep the liner in place. That liner can be a little funny style to keep from rolling up."
