FULL FEATURED

The all-new Pivot Trailcat isn’t a bike that fits neatly into the typical trail category; and we like it that way. Explore the key features that enhance the Trailcat's riding experience.

One Frame, Two Bikes

Both the Trailcat SL and LT models share the same front and rear triangle, as well as the same lower DW-Link. The differences in geometry and kinematics between the SL and LT are achieved through distinct upper links, a flippable lower shock tab mount, and varying shock lengths. This fine-tuning enhances the ride characteristics, providing two unique riding experiences.

DW-Link Suspension

The beating heart of the Trailcat is driven by the renowned DW-Link suspension, delivering exceptional pedaling efficiency, bump absorption, and active rear braking ensuring predictability on any terrain. This design allows the Trailcat SL to pedal with XC-like efficiency while outperforming expectations on descents, while the Trailcat LT combines the agility of a short-travel trail bike with the downhill capability of an enduro rig.

Adjustability

With an easy-to-use flip-chip, you can adjust mid-ride—just loosen, rotate, and retighten without removing it. No lost parts! The high BB setting raises the bottom bracket and steepens the head angle by 0.5° for sharper handling or MX wheel compatibility. The low setting keeps the BB low with 29" wheels and keeps the front end feeling slack for tackling rough terrain.

Design Details

The Trailcat's size-specific tubing with individual frame layups ensures every frame is optimized for strength, weight, and rider size, delivering consistent performance across all sizes. In simpler terms, it doesn't matter what size you ride; it will feel right at home.

A newly redesigned cable port allows dual hose routing for a cleaner look and easier setup, while integrated clips inside the Toolshed™ keep cables secure, silent, and out of sight.

FRAME SIZING

If you're on the cusp between the recommended height range of two sizes, the absolute best thing is to try to ride them both. At a minimum, check the stack/reach measurements on your current bike and compare it to the new model you are looking at to get an idea of a fit you are already comfortable with.

If riding the bike is not an option, our Customer Service can help you identify a size more specific to your body type. Call us at (866) 600-BIKE.

The Pivot Trailcat is available in sizes XS - XL.

PERSONAL PREFERENCE

We suggest that you pick your Trailcat size based on your riding style. The Trailcat features progressive long reach geometry with both short seat tube and head tube measurements per size–this geometry means that most riders can go up or down a size and should base their choice on riding style, reach, and stem length preferences.

BODY DIMESNIONS

Not all bodies at a given height are the same. If you have longer legs and a shorter torso than the average person your height, that may push you towards the smaller of the recommended sizes. If you're all torso and arms, most likely you'll want to size up.
