Fashioned from a mere 102 grams of carbon and titanium awesomeness, Zipp's SLSpeed Stem proves that a super-light tiller can also be super stiff and strong. Making the most of every gram, the SLSpeed's unidirectional-carbon body contains no embedded metal so it gets all your power to the ground. It also has rearward-facing bolts that thread directly into the titanium faceplate to minimize weight and the faceplate is dimpled to boost aerodynamics. Also, the bottom edge of the faceplate is designed to contact the stem to make it even stiffer. There's also a single, self-aligning bolt at the steerer clamp that reduces stress on the stem and fork so that the beautiful SLSpeed dresses up your dream bike for years to come.
