Mike’s Bikes Exclusive Build: Carbon Builds For Less.

These exclusive builds feature a range of affordable ‘D’ build components on a Santa Cruz carbon frame that delivers an impressive ride at an affordable price. Like any other bike from Mike’s Bikes, these exclusive builds have been assembled and hand-tuned by one of our expert mechanics before shipment. This item is new, and given the nature of these builds, slight variations in components may occur. Lifetime warranty applicable to all frames.

PRODUCT:

Hardtails are more capable than ever with their modern trail geometry, rugged components, and high versatility. The Santa Cruz Chameleon 7 AL 29" Bike is built around all of these principles for a fun-loving bike that has a shreddy spirit. The aluminum frame is lightweight and highly durable and is built to work with both 29" and 27.5" tires and can be used geared or set up single-speed. The frame has simple, swappable dropouts that convert it from an aggressive trail bike to a single-speed cruiser.

The D-Kit version of the Chameleon 7 AL comes with a SRAM NX/SX 12-speed drivetrain that includes a cassette that has a hill-crushing 11-50T gear range that makes climbing and riding in rough terrain much easier. SRAM Level hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power for dusty and wet conditions. WTB ST i30 TCS 2.0 rims are paired with Maxxis Minion DHF and Ardent tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the SDG Tellis dropper post, you'll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle for more efficient climbing and safer descending.
