The Roubion is designed for one purpose: to give you the best ride possible.27.5” wheels and 150mm of travel strike a perfect balance between gobbling up bumps and not gobbling up your legs on the climb back up.
The geometry isn’t a radical departure from the previous Roubion — it didn’t need to be. The head tube is a little slacker. The bottom bracket is a little lower. The chainstays are still short, but the ride is still amazing.
The Juliana Roubion C S is the first step toward true bike nerd-dom. Bump up to a FOX 36 Performance fork, more robust SRAM Code R brakes, a Rockshox Reverb dropper post, Race Face rims laced to DT Swiss hubs — and now you’re rolling. SRAM GX still offers up 12 gears, but with smoother action and a lighter cassette (for less unsprung weight, among other nerdy things). In short: take the lightweight carbon platform, drop another pound with components, and add stronger brakes and better suspension.
