The Highball is wildly efficient, but that doesn’t mean that it’s harsh. Santa Cruz went with dropped seat stays to offer more compliance in the rear and a 27.2mm seat post to take the edge off of those all-day epics. The Highball is a no-frills race machine that can tackle anything from short-track events to century rides.
The Highball C S Reserve features Santa Cruz’s own Reserve carbon rims laced to DT Swiss hubs. The benefits of carbon rims can be seen in all forms of cycling, but XC bikes have benefitted the most. The stiff rims provide excellent power transfer and compliance while shaving weight and adding durability to your carbon hardtail. The S package is a durable build kit that provides a perfect platform for the Reserve rims to shine.
