This was given as a gift to my cycling brother. He was thrilled to replace his old "wallet" which his photo proved to be a small zip lock baggie. Exactly what the sales description suggested. He loved it!

    • Glossy Plastic Window

    Best Uses

    Comments:

Bummer about the wallet is the plastic window screen.. It is shiny and reflective.. When taking pics or videos on sunny day, it acts as a mirror and you cannot see what you are filming or taking picture of.. So you have to take the phone out of the snuggly fitting wallet to use, which defeats the purpose of the lens opening and increases the possibility of the phone flying out of the wallet when you pull it out. If the clear crystal plastic was a matte finish that would make this product awesome!!!!

Cases are really great but it definitely doesn't fit any new "large phones" like it claims. I wish I would have read the reviews before hand because I am unable to return three cases :(.

Great use for the product when traveling and need protection from the elements and feel secure that the iPhone and emergency credit cards, cash, store card, etc. are at the ready when there might be a need for them if a situation happens.

        Comments:

I'm frustrated because I got it so I could take pictures without removing my phone and I can't. The place for the camera is different than the Samsung so if the camera opening was larger it might work. I don't even use it.

          Comments:

Prior to purchase of the Timbuk2 cycling wallet, I had been carrying my wallet in one jersey pocket and my cell phone in another. If you're a cyclist you know real estate is precious in those little pockets and the Timbuk2 cycling wallet has proven to be a great way to consolidate the two (wallet & cell phone holder) into one. The 3 slip-in pockets are perfect for carrying an id, credit card, etc. My only issue is with the clear front window on the wallet. It's nice to be able to see my smartphone screen without having to take the phone out. However, instead of lying flat, the plastic window rounds over at the edges which causes the wallet to bulge out. This, plus the fact that the plastic is a little too thick, makes it difficult to operate the phone without taking it out of the case. It also makes it a little more difficult to operate the zipper. If the plastic window was a little smaller so that it lied flat and a little thinner so that you could operate the touch screen through the window then it would be perfect.

            Comments:

Rather than use this for my phone, I use it as a front pocket wallet. My driver's license shows clearly though the front and there is room for a few cards. (Insurance and credit card). It is a smaller size; so it works perfectly.
