The new Nomad sends the all mountain category into Andean Mountain sized territory. Now in its third generation, the full carbon frame has been completely redesigned to stay ahead of enduro racing’s ever-more DH trajectory.
An aggressive 65 degree head angle delivers V10 handling at Syndicate speeds. Santa Cruz has also added a V10-style upper link, increased VPP™ travel and improved small bump performance. The RockShox Monarch Plus Debonair rear shock helps you dial in your 165mm of rear wheel travel to the trail you are attacking. One the front, you will find a RockShox Pike RCT3 Solo Air fork with 160mm of travel. There isn't another fork better suited to the this bike and what it is designed for.
The one-by only design also permits a neatly recessed and protected lower link, resulting in some seriously compact chainstays. Match that with an inch more reach in the cockpit and you’ve got the ideal set-up for tearing down the side of Chilean stratovolcanoes. Don't worry about running out of gears though. The SRAM X0-1 drivetrain provides every gear you will need to get up steep, technical climbs and give you the top end speed as you sprint down the hill.
And as ever with carbon technology, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. The internal cable routing is so trick it’s a shame it never sees the light of day. Thin carbon fiber tubes molded into the frame from entry to exit, ensure completely integrated hassle-free routing every time.
