The comfortable anatomic bend and carbon construction of Ritchey's Pro Carbon Evolution Road Bar make it a favorite among cyclists looking to upgrade their ride. It offers the amazing weight savings and vibration damping of carbon and awesome strength and stiffness thanks to Ritchey's monocoque construction. Plus, this great bar is compatible with clip-on bars, and the stem- and brake-clamp regions are textured for a super-secure hold.
Purchased these to dampen vibration on an older aluminum frame that I use as a rain bike (I live in the Pacific Northwest). The bars succeed admirably in this task and I am happy with the purchase to the point I have ordered a second pair for another bike. I like the moderate drop and reach, it's fairly close to that of aluminum Ritchey Logic WCS II bars I have on yet another bike and whose fit I like. They also look quite good. I would not recommend these bars for a sprinter or crit racer, they are not very rigid at all, I can easily twist the drops the better part of a cm. They work well for me, a fairly weak, lightly build rider who climbs mostly out of the saddle.
