Benefiting from Specialized's vast experience with professional 29er riders, the Carve Expert 29er delivers serious go-fast speed and smoothness. Abundant features in the M4SL butted-aluminum frame such as a tapered head tube and short chainstays result in great handling and climbing capability. There's also an 100mm travel RockShox fork and big, 29-inch wheels with grippy Specialized tires. As a result, the Expert carves singletrack with ease. Plus, the wide-range Shimano/SRAM 2x10 drivetrain and the all-weather braking power of Elixir discs round out this speedy hardtail. And, you'll love the quality Specialized rims and components which hold up great no matter how hard or long you go.

      Comments:

The first day I bought it I only used on pavement, just around the block and it felt good and something I noticed was the powerful hydraulic brakes, they really do their job. The next day I was anxious to go off road and I was amazed how the bike responded. It is very light and the geometry of this bike makes the ride comfortable.
