Sacramento Ladies Ride
Third Saturday of Each Month at 8:30am:
2-2.5 Hours

8:30am from our Sacramento store.
Led by Alyssa Reyna

The ride will be for all women's riders from beginner to advanced. Meeting at 8:30 am at Mike's Bikes of Sacramento and pedaling at 8:45 am, we will be going for around 20-25 miles (about 2-2.5 hours) at a conversational pace. Riders will learn how to safely ride in a group by experience ride leaders (Lya Daggett, Beth Koster, Alyssa Reyna). The ride will end at Mike's Bikes of Sacramento and be followed by food, refreshments, and a raffle of some kind.

Ladies Alliance Ride - 2-2.5 Hours

Due to popular demand, the ladies of the South Bay now have another option to hit the streets with the women of Mike's Bikes. Experienced ride leaders will make all feel welcome and comfortable and will answer all questions great and small. The routes will vary, and generally be ~25 miles at a conversational pace, depending on the group, and will end at Mike's Bikes in San Jose with a raffle of some of our favorite women's specific products that we'd like to share with you.

A ride for women who love cycling! This is an opportunity for women of all levels to connect and enjoy the company of others who live for cycling. Experienced ride leaders will make all feel welcome and comfortable and will answer all questions great and small. The ride will be ~30 miles at a conversation pace and will end at Mike’s Bikes of Los Gatos with a raffle of some of our favorite women's specific products that we'd like to share with you.

TGIF Lunch Road Ride - 22 miles/1.5 Hour

1:00pm from our Sausalito store.

All are welcome to start your weekend a little early with this spirited ride around Marin County's beautiful Paradise Drive loop. Led by Dana Williams, member of Team Mike's Bikes and developer of the Achieve9 Training Program, this ride will be a great opportunity to hone your pace line riding skills with other passionate cyclists. Finish at Equator Coffee Prooflab (Tam Junction) and enjoy your favorite drink with some good camaraderie. Coach Dana will also provide a few pointers here and there to make for a fun and safe ride. 22 miles with an elevation gain of 330 m. #tgiflunchride

Col du Pantoll - 26.5 miles

Led by Team Mike's Bikes

A, B, and C ride groups for hammerheads, aspiring hammerheads, and mellow fellows and chicas.

All are welcome for this spirited ride out to the coast and up Mt. Tamalpais via Pantoll. Start and finish at Mike's Bikes of Sausalito. 'A' group is fast-paced, (14-16 mph*) 'B' group is moderate (12-14 mph*). 'C' group will ride a shorter route at a relaxed pace (10-12 mph*). Last Wednesdays of every month feature an escort from the California Highway Patrol and a free post-ride BBQ with beverages. Come join the fun! Click here for more info.

Passo del Diablo - 28 miles


6pm from our Walnut Creek store.
Led by Team Mike's Bikes and shop employees

All are welcome for this spirited ride out to Mt Diablo. Start and finish at Mike's Bikes of Walnut Creek. 'A' group is fast-paced, (14-16 mph), 'B' group is moderate (12-14 mph). The ride will roll out and head to South Gate, up to the Junction, down to North Gate, then back to the shop for a 28 mile loop.

Feeling a little vertically challenged? Our 'C' group ride meets and leaves a little earlier at 5:30. The 'C' group then meets up with with the 'A/B' group up at the junction to then we all descend back to the shop together. This is a hosted group, but not always lead by Mike's Bikes.

First Wednesdays of each month will feature a pizza party provided by Extreme Pizza to celebrate our collective domination over Diablo. Come conquer Passo del Diablo with us! Click here for more info.

Tres Altos Road Ride - 27.5 miles

6pm from our Los Gatos store.
Led by MB Staffers

All are welcome for this spirited ride. We’ll tackle three beloved local climbs (Shannon, Hicks, and Kennedy) starting and ending at Mike's Bikes of Los Gatos. 'A' group is fast-paced, (16-18 mph) 'B' group is moderate (14-16 mph). 'C' group will ride a shorter route at a relaxed pace (10-12 mph).

The third Wednesday of each month will feature a post-ride party to celebrate our collective pedal power over these three lovely hills!

Evening Road Ride - 1 Hour

5:30pm from our Sacramento store.
Led by Alyssa Reyna

We're looking for women riders of all levels.  This evening road ride is an hour out and back at a conversational pace on the American River Parkway (bike trail). Routes will vary, but it is a no drop policy ride. All rides will end at Mike's Bike's of Sacramento.

Group Road Ride - 2.5 Hours

Join us for a Saturday group ride through the east bay hills from  
our shop in Walnut Creek. Meet at 8:45am set to roll out at 09:00am sharp. The ride routes vary week to week. Our ride is open to all levels, male or female. New riders are always welcome so bring a friend! All rides will end back at Mike's Bikes Walnut Creek 11.30-12.00. 


Saturdays at 10:00am:
Frank's Hammer Fest  - 2.5 Hours

After receiving a pleasant welcome from the tri-valley community Mikes Bikes of Pleasanton would like to reintroduce our Saturday morning road ride as "Frank's Hammer Fest Saturday!"

This fast paced group ride will focus on our community of experienced riders and will take them on a variety of the East Bay's best road rides. Routes include Calavaras, Palomares, Mines Road to Lake Del Valle and the Collier Canyon Loop.

The ride will move at an average speed of 17 -19 mph and will meet at 10:00am and leave by 10:15am. The ride usually returns around 12:30 to 1:00pm.

Justin's Joyride  - 2 Hours

We're happy to introduce the community to our Sunday morning road ride. Join us for "Justin's Joyride", a moderately paced ride to help develop your skills in a fun and easy going atmosphere.

The ride routes vary week to week and we meet at 10 am to roll out by 10:15 am. Our ride is open to all levels but our focus is for beginner and intermediate riders male or female.

New riders are always welcome so bring a friend! All rides will end back at Mike's Bikes Pleasanton at 12:00 -12:30 pm.

Sunday Spins Group Road Ride - 13-35 miles

Sundays at 10:45am from our San Rafael store.
Led by our friends at Echelon Cycling, beginner friendly!

Join us for a one to two hour recreational ride for novice and intermediate riders on flat to gently rolling roads. Our ride leaders from Echelon are great mentors—beginners are welcome! Meet in the store with your bike ready to go, and we’ll roll out at 11am sharp (rain cancels). Distance will be 13–35 miles, dependent on the preference and abilities of the group. Berkeley Hills Group Ride - 2 Hours

10:00am from Mike's Bikes of Berkeley
Led by Allison

Join us for a no-drop, fun and laid-back group ride up into the beautiful Berkeley Hills; no egos, just good times!  Meet in the Mike’s Bikes parking lot at 9:45, roll out at 10. The route is 12 miles with 900 feet of climbing up Spruce and along Wildcat Canyon to Inspiration Point, then back down again the same way. Great recovery ride or intro to the hills. Speeds will average 4-10 mph for climbing & 12-16 mph flat, depending on the group. Shifting and climbing fundamentals as well as proper road etiquette will be reviewed for anyone interested. What to bring: A road bike, helmet and water bottle.

Different Spokes (Road & Mountain): A unique San Francisco based club that holds rides for members of the gay and lesbian community and their friends.

Freemont Freewheelers Bicycle Club (Road): A club that has a race team and an emphasis on fitness and training in and around Alameda County.


Golden Gate Cyclists (Road & Mountain): This beginner-friendly group organizes rides all throughout the Bay Area with an emphasis on fun and socializing.

Grizzly Peak Cyclists (Road & Mountain): A Berkeley based club that does primarily weekend rides throughout the bay area.

Kain Performance Multi-Sport Team: Kain Performance holds weekly Coached Workouts covering swimming, biking and running. There are informal workouts and special events that are not held on a regular basis, so check with the coaches, or check the website for updates on dates and times. Training schedules are published & distributed on a monthly basis for regular monthly paid members.

Oakland Yellowjackets Bicycle Club (Road): An Oakland based club that organizes weekly and scheduled rides that are social and beginner-friendly.

ROMP- Responsible Organized Mountain Pedalers (Mountain): A group highly focused on advocacy and trail maintenance that organizes mountain rides throughout the Bay Area.

Sacramento Bike Hikers (Road): A well-established club with weekly and scheduled road rides in and around Sacramento.

Sacramento Wheelmen (Road): An extremely active advocacy non-profit that hosts numerous rides and activities in the Sacramento area.

Sacramento Valley Cycling (Road & Mountain): A Sacramento area site with links to many local cycling clubs and group rides.

Santa Rosa Cycling Club (Road & Mountain): A Sonoma County based club that holds road and mountain rides in the North Bay area.

Silicon Valley Triathlon Club: Being the largest triathlon club in Northern California with over 440 members, this peninsula organization is an incredible resource for Bay Area triathletes.
