A ride for women who love cycling! This is an opportunity for women of all levels to connect and enjoy the company of others who live for cycling. Experienced ride leaders will make all feel welcome and comfortable and will answer all questions great and small. The ride will be ~30 miles at a conversation pace and will end at Mike’s Bikes of Los Gatos with a raffle of some of our favorite women's specific products that we'd like to share with you.
Third Sunday of Each Month at 8:45am: Ladies Alliance Ride - 2-2.5 Hours
Due to popular demand, the ladies of the South Bay now have another option to hit the streets with the women of Mike's BikesExperienced ride leaders will make all feel welcome and comfortable and will answer all questions great and small. The routes will vary, and generally be ~25 miles at a conversational pace, depending on the group, and will end at Mike's Bikes in San Jose with a raffle of some of our favorite women's specific products that we'd like to share with you.

Right at the belly of the week, lets hit the trail of the Pleasanton Ridge, riders must bring their own riding light!
Level: Intermediate/ advanced.
Fridays at 8:30am: Women Road Ride - 2-2.5 Hours

We want women to have fun, and share the beauty of cycling. Distance between 25-30 miles. We will also talk about riding and training techniques.
Join us for a Saturday group ride through the east bay hills from our shop in Walnut Creek. Meet at 8:45am set to roll out at 09:00am sharp. The ride routes vary week to week. Our ride is open to all levels, male or female. New riders are always welcome so bring a friend! All rides will end back at Mike's Bikes Walnut Creek 11.30 - 12.00.
Saturdays at 9:00am: Breeze the Trees with Grady - 1.5-2 Hours
9:00am from San Jose store. Led by Grady of Mike's Bikes San Jose
Join us for a short leisurely morning ride, aimed toward new group riders, as well as those looking to push a little harder. We will be covering some fundamentals of group riding and city riding, with an emphasis of learning how to ride comfortably with others. So bring a good attitude and an appetite for learning.
This will be a no rider left behind 20.6 mile loop, leaving at 9am from Mike's Bikes San Jose. Be prepared for a challenging climb up Shannon Road, with a rewarding descent afterward. The pace will be based off the most leisurely rider of the day, so don't hesitate to come and challenge yourself a bit. Look forward to seeing you there!
Saturdays at 9:00am: Ride the Road - 1.5-2 Hours
9:00am from Petaluma store. Led by Ian Conover of Mike's Bikes Petaluma
Sonoma County boasts some of the most scenic, challenging and fun rides in the universe. Join us Saturdays at 9am for a Moderate paced (17mph average) ride through the Sonoma / Marin county roads. The ride leaves the shop at 9am sharp, so if you need last minute supplies, someone will be on hand at 8:45. The ride route will vary so check in with the shop and ask what ride we’re doing this Saturday.
Saturdays at 10:00am: Pleasanton Road Ride - 2-2.5 Hours
We will celebrate the weekend on a bike, making friends, getting a workout, and reseting for the week. Distance: around 30 miles
Level: Beginner/ intermediate.
Sundays at 8:45am: Sunday Spins Group Road Ride - 13-35 miles
Sundays at 8:45am from our San Rafael store. Led by our friends at Echelon Cycling, beginner friendly!
Join us for a one to two hour recreational ride for novice and intermediate riders on flat to gently rolling roads. Our ride leaders from Echelon are great mentors—beginners are welcome! Meet in the store with your bike ready to go, and we’ll roll out at 9am sharp (rain cancels). Distance will be 13–35 miles, dependent on the preference and abilities of the group. Sundays at 10:00am: Berkeley Hills Group Ride - 2 Hours
Join us for a no-drop, fun and laid-back group ride up into the beautiful Berkeley Hills; no egos, just good times! Meet in the Mike’s Bikes parking lot at 9:45, roll out at 10. The route is 12 miles with 900 feet of climbing up Spruce and along Wildcat Canyon to Inspiration Point, then back down again the same way. Great recovery ride or intro to the hills. Speeds will average 4-10 mph for climbing & 12-16 mph flat, depending on the group. Shifting and climbing fundamentals as well as proper road etiquette will be reviewed for anyone interested. What to bring: A road bike, helmet and water bottle.
Sundays at 2:00pm: Community Leisure Ride - 1.5-2 Hours
Family and friends riding bikes, no style, speed, outfit is important today. This ride is about enjoying Sunday with your community. Every biker, bike, age, style is welcome! Distance: 10 miles.

Kain Performance Multi-Sport Team:Kain Performance holds weekly Coached Workouts covering swimming, biking and running. There are informal workouts and special events that are not held on a regular basis, so check with the coaches, or check the website for updates on dates and times. Training schedules are published & distributed on a monthly basis for regular monthly paid members.
